Since its founding in 1957 by Mauro Pagliari, the Pagliari Group has built a reputation for its superior levels of craftsmanship. Fifty Years in existence, the group's achievements are not only noteworthy, but numerous and include the following:

The Old Parliamentary Mace

In 1962, the late Mauro Pagliari produced the largest piece of worked gold in South Africa, the 18ct gold Parliamentary Mace.

People's Mace

The group was then chosen to be part of a team that manufactured the new parliamentary mace, known as the People's Mace in 2003.

The Black Rod

In 2005 The Pagliari Group was commissioned to manufacture the Black Rod of the South African Parliament.

The Mace has become the foundation and benchmark of quality which remains in the company and for which the Pagliari Group and its subsidiary companies are world renowned.

The Chalice

A 337 gram handcrafted silver Chalice was presented to the late Pope John Paul II by former President Nelson Mandela on behalf of the South African Government in 1998.

Rose Bowl

A hand crafted silver Rose Bowl presented as a wedding gift to Japanese Crown Prince Naruhito and his wife, commissioned by the SA Government.

Unity Medal In 1994 the presentation by the Pagliari Group of a 24ct gold Unity Medal to former President Nelson Mandela on his 50th day in office.
Mercedes Benz Collection Permission in 1992 was granted by Mercedes-Benz to manufacture a collection of 10 vintage car medals in 24 ct gold and fine silver.
Dunhill

The Alfred Dunhill Challenge Cup Trophy was manufactured in 925 silver for this prestigious event.

Millennium Medal The Cape Mint was chosen to manufacture the Millennium 2000 Aurea medal. This was struck in 24ct gold and set with 64 diamonds. The first medal was presented to the late Pope John Paul II by the late Comm. Mauro Pagliari OMSS.
